Sushi? Samba? Japanese and Brazilian seems like such an odd fusion. Clearly this marriage works for Sushi Samba, because they've done well enough to make it to their one year anniversary. Congratulations Sushi Samba!
I loved the sake, but not as much as I loved speaking Japanese to the brewers and being told that my Japanese accent is flawless. *beams*
Beautiful samba goddess.
With Diego.
Alastair and Hamish who both are very invested in Coolio's wellbeing. Dwarf hamster enthusiasts, unite!
Nina Cherry brought the house down with her vocals, and turned Sushi Samba into a posh rave. Who knew the place had such disco potential? Meanwhile, I was taking a disco nap in the corner. Too many cocktails on an empty stomach will do that to a girl.
I blame the 'piranhas'. Guests were stripping plates of canapés in seconds flat, even as they made their way out of the kitchen. You couldn't get a nibble not for love or for money. People are ruthless when it comes to hor d'oeuvres. It was like watching a cow being stripped to the bone by a flock of piranhas. *shudder*
Even though I didn't get any food, the view was sustenance for me.
Right, I'm off to bed, it's twenty past midnight and I'm either a) very drunk b) feeling faint from lack of food c) have the Spanish flu. But of course you know all of this because you follow me on Dayre for realtime updates and microblogging goodness.
Goodnight world.
